Bruker diffractometer equipped with a focusing-beam IµS and a Vantec-2000 area detector. The setup was configured to focus the beam onto the detector. The sample-to-detector distance is 19 cm, q-min corresponds to 230 Å. Such a set-up can be used for medium resolution SAXS, and provides up to 30 times more intensity than a three-pinhole configuration SAXS instrument. The silver behanate data shown below were taken in only 30 sec.
