It is time to introduce our latest innovation:
Please welcome the future of SAXS - welcome the world's first scatter-free pinholes,
welcome SCATEX!
In the past, due to parasitic scattering at the apertures SAXS systems required space consuming collimation systems which were hard to align and which needed small, photon consuming pinholes for beam definition. Incoatec's latest development makes this obsolete: SCATEX are the first scatter-free pinholes, outperforming all standard pinholes and scatterless slit systems which have been used in the past.
-
No parasitic pinhole scattering !
-
Higher resolution and higher photon flux !
-
Easy and speedy pinhole alignment !
-
Successfully tested at synchrotrons and SAXS home-lab systems !
The new SCATEX pinholes overcome typical experimental issues:
Anti-scatter pinholes are no longer necessary, system sizes can be reduced, while simultaneously improving the data quality with increased resolution and photon flux. We are prepared for special solutions optimized for your individual SAXS experiment.
